The object of Shell Game is to locate the coins hidden under the sliding tiles.
You may slide tiles horizontally or vertically, only tiles next to the empty space may slide. Use the arrow tool to slide tiles around.
Use the Eye tool to peek under tiles. If you find a coin, it is placed on top of the tile and the game continues. If you do not find a coin, you lose, and must start the level over. You start the level over with "New Game" in the file menu.
Use the Circle with a line (No Coin) tool to mark tiles that you know don't have coins.
The number in the clear space represents the number of coins next to that space.
I.E. if the number is 3, then there are 3 coins somewhere in the 8 surrounding spaces.
As the tiles slide around, the coins slide around as well, so the numbers will change. It is how the numbers change that gives away the location of the coins.
Basic Strategy: Examine the corners of the playing area, looking for the number 3. Since a corner space has only 3 tiles around it, if the number is also 3, then each tile must have a coin. Use the eye tool to turn over the three tiles.
When you locate all of the coins within a level, you have completed the puzzle and advance to the next level.
